Direct thermal or thermal transfer?

The MH341T can do both. Use direct thermal labels without a ribbon for short-life shipping labels. For care labels, product labels and anything that must survive heat, sunlight, rubbing or chemicals, use thermal transfer with a wax, wax-resin or resin ribbon matched to your label material.

Ribbons and labels for the TSC MH341T

For thermal transfer printing use 110 mm wax, 110 mm wax-resin or narrower ribbons (42–85 mm) for small labels, wound ink side out. Wax suits paper labels; wax-resin suits coated paper and synthetic labels that must resist rubbing. For direct thermal printing, 4-inch shipping labels need no ribbon. See all barcode ribbons.
