Key features
- Up to 300 mm/s. Long bills print almost instantly, which helps clear queues at peak times.
- USB and Bluetooth built in. Connect a billing PC by cable and still print wirelessly from a phone or tablet.
- 203 dpi output. Prices, totals, logos and barcodes print crisp and scannable.
- Windows, Android and iOS support. Fits most desktop billing software and mobile POS apps.
- No ribbon or ink. Direct thermal printing keeps running costs down to paper only.
Where it fits
The R820 is a strong match for busy supershops and grocery tills, fast-food outlets and cafés with a steady flow of orders, pharmacies with long itemised bills, and ticket or token counters. If your current printer is the reason customers wait, this is the model to look at.
Paper and setup
The R820 uses standard 80mm thermal receipt rolls. It is a direct thermal printer, so no ink, toner or ribbon is ever required. Connect it over USB to a Windows PC, or pair it over Bluetooth with an Android or iOS phone or tablet.
