The Zebra 3200 wax-resin ribbon (156 mm × 450 m) is Zebra’s own premium wax-resin ribbon. It prints crisp barcodes at high speed and holds up to rubbing, light chemicals and heat better than wax, so labels stay scannable through handling, storage and transport. It is wound ink side out.

Wax or wax-resin?
Wax-resin sits between wax and full resin: it bonds better to coated paper and many film labels and resists smudging and scratching, while still printing fast. Use it for pharmaceutical and FMCG cartons, warehouse and asset labels, and anything that is handled often. For plain paper labels used quickly, a wax ribbon is cheaper.
Choosing the right width
The ribbon should be at least as wide as your label (so the whole label is printed) but not wider than the printer’s printhead. Using a ribbon close to your label width saves money — for example, 55 or 70 mm ribbons for narrow garment and product labels, 110 mm for 4-inch shipping labels.
